A lance is a steel-tipped wooden weapon once used by Greek and Roman warriors. Drawing from this imagery, the perfume infuses deep wooden notes with a hint of metallic elegance to evoke the courage and confidence of these spirited champions, who often referred to the phallus as “the lance of love.”
To my nose it smell like as piece of wood freshly cut, fresh but still edge. There is some leather and metallic sent on my nose, I love it. It reminds me for Animalique from Byredo.
My daughter bought the discovery set and gave Lance of Love to me as she knew I would love it. She was right, I absolutely love this beautiful warm fragrance and decided to treat myself to the full size bottle
I’ve used the same perfumes for many years but watch Anita Rani on Instagram promote your perfumes. So I thought I would give them a try. Just love the fragrance. Such a feminine fragrance.
This is one of the most beautiful perfumes I have ever been lucky enough to discover. I have had many compliments as others ask about the scent. It’s a confident but deeply comforting fragrance and I feel great wearing it !
This scent is gorgeous.
I found it in a little independent shop in Lindfield Sussex and had to buy. When that ran out ordered another direct.
I constantly get compliments about it and people ask where I got it from.
The only criticism I have is the cost for the size of the bottle.

Stunning perfume
This perfume is incredible both in terms of scent and value. I literally only use one spritz and it's there for most of the day without reapplying. The scent is really unusual - earthy yet still light. I absolutely love it!
